Chief Simon currently serves as a board member of Bellingham Public School Foundation and the Whatcom Community Foundation, as well as being a member of the Bellingham Bay Rotary Club.

Flo Simon has had Whatcom’s health and safety as a priority ever since she joined the BPD back in 1989. Her career was prolific with accomplishments ascending the ranks from officer to Police Chief.

Simon is someone who takes “progression, accountability and responsibility” incredibly seriously.
